Welcome to this step by step guide on how to set up your brand new Cloud PC

Requirements for Windows:

Company email e.g.: name@cloudconnected.nl.
Temporary password to your email address.
A Windows or Mac machine with the latest updates.

Setting up your account for Windows Devices:

If its your first time using your company email address, we have to create a new password and setup 2 factor authentication with the Microsoft Authenticator app, to access the Cloud PC.

Step 1: Go to https://windows365.microsoft.com/ Step 2: Login with your email address and temporary password provided by the IT helpdesk. Step 3: Follow the on screen instructions to setup the Microsoft Authenticator app. If you're having trouble setting up the authenticator app, please follow This article's video. Step 4: Follow the on screen instructions to change your password.

After you have completed the previous steps you will be greeted by the windows 365 home page. Here you can see your cloud PC. If you press on the "open in browser" button your Cloud PC will start up in the browser. Very useful if you need to view a email or a file and you don't have your own laptop or pc with you. Although accessing your Cloud PC from the browser is useful, it does have its limitations.

On your mac computer:

Step 1: Open a web browser and enter the Printix Home of your work followed by /download Example: cloudconnected.printix.net/download

Step 2: Select Download Printix Client. || Do NOT rename the file, as it will prevent it from working with your Printix Home.

Install

Open and run the downloaded file:

Step 1: Open Downloads, for example from the Dock at the bottom of the screen.

Step 2: Double-click CLIENT{home}{id}.DMG. After a few seconds the Printix Client dialog appears.

Step 3: Select and hold the Control ^ key and right-click the cardboard box icon (Printix Client.pkg), select Open With and then Installer. Open With example

Step 4: Select Open.

Requirements:

Installation file -Administrator Rights or account on the computer

Running the installer:

Step 1: Open the AnyConnect-MacOS-4.xx.xxxxx.dmg installation file and double click on the AnyConnect.pkg file in the popup window.

Step 1: Double-click on CLIENT{home}{id}.EXE to start the installation. A User Account Control dialog may appear asking you if you want to allow the Printix Client Setup program to make changes on this computer. Select Yes.

Step 2: Change setup language if required. Select OK.

Step 3: The Setup – Printix Client wizard appears. Select Next.

Step 4: Select Install. The installation begins.

Step 5: The installation completes. Select Finish.

Step 1: Open the Printix Client by searching for it in the start menu.
