Send email from your email alias

**Once your email alias has been added to your account by the administrator, you can receive email send to that alias. In order to send an email from that address, you have to add it to Gmail

Add your email alias to your Gmail

1. On your computer, open Gmail by going to mail.google.com and opening your mailbox.
2. In the top right, click Settings and then See all settings.
3. Click the Accounts and import or Accounts tab.
4. In the "Send mail as" section, click Add another email address.
5. Enter your name and the address you want to send from.
6. Click Next Step and the email has been added.
7. You will now see the new account in the list of mail addresses.

Send email as your alias

1. Open Gmail by going to mail.google.com.
2. Compose a new email as you always would.
3. Click on Recipients in the New Message popup.
4. A new field will appear with From.
5. Click on your name and a dropdown menu will appear.
6. Choose the email address you want to use to send the email.
