# How to give DisplayLink Manager access on macOS

The following steps must be taken before DisplayLink Manager can be used.

# step 1:
Go to System Preferences and search for Security & Privacy

# step 2:
In the Privacy tab, under Screen Recording, check DisplayLink Manager.

# step 3:
Click on the DisplayLink Manager icon on the top right corner of the screen and check the box next to "Launch automatically after login"

**Now you have given DisplayLink Manager access**
