What is inflation adjustment?

Prices in the Netherlands rise every year. This is called price inflation. This price inflation has an effect on our costs. That is why we increase the fixed monthly costs of our services every year. Inflation correction is therefore not new, but occurs every year. Recently it has been in the news more often. In the past year, prices have risen faster than in other years. Inflation correction, but also the height, can hardly come as a surprise.

Allowed in an inflation adjustment?

Yes, the inflation adjustment is in line with our General Terms and Conditions and/or explicitly stated on your Contract Proposal.

What is the amount of the inflation adjustment?

The inflation correction is 14.3%, equal to the CBS of Statistics Netherlands from October 2022. The inflation adjustment applies to the fixed monthly costs of customers who were already customers before October 1, 2022. The inflation adjustment does not apply to call rates.

When does the inflation adjustment take effect?

As of January 1, 2023, we apply the annual inflation adjustment. As a result, the monthly amount of the invoice will change as of January 1, 2023.

Does the inflation adjustment also apply to the call rates?

No, the inflation adjustment only applies to the fixed monthly costs and not to the call rates.

Does the inflation correction also apply to the hourly rates (Consultancy/Development/Project Management)?

Yes, this is taken from the CBS CPI inflation figure. If the ICK Collective Labor Agreement uses a higher increase in wages than the CBS CPI figure, the ICK Collective Labor Agreement increase is adopted.

What are other parties in the market doing with regard to inflation correction?

Other parties in the market are also faced with higher costs, they also increase the monthly fixed costs every year as a result of inflation.

To whom does the inflation adjustment apply?

The inflation adjustment only applies to customers who were already customers before October 1, 2022 and only applies to the fixed monthly costs of our Mobile, Cloud, Internet and ISDN/PSTN solutions.
