Installing Cisco AnyConnect Client for MacOS

Welcome to this step by step guide on how to install Cisco AnyConnect Client.

Requirements:

- Installation file
-Administrator Rights or account on the computer

Running the installer:

Step 1: Open the AnyConnect-MacOS-4.xx.xxxxx.dmg installation file and double click on the AnyConnect.pkg file in the popup window.


Step 2: Click continue in the installation windows until you reach the "Installation Type" step. Leave everything checked in this step and click on continue.


Step 3: Finish the last steps in the installer until the program is installed succesfully. After the installer finishes, you will receive a pop-up with the message "System Extension Blocked". Cick on "Open Security Preferences"


Step 4: In the ":Security and Privacy" window that opens, click on the closed lock in the left bottom corner and fill in the administrator password when asked for it. Then click on "Allow" on the right side of the window.


Step 5: After allowing the application in the Security & Privacy window there will come a last pop-up asking to Allow the "Cisco AnyConnect Socket Filter to filter Network Content". Also Allow these settings by pressing "Allow"


Step 6: Restart the computer to finalize the installation.
