Sending a Device back to CloudConnected



Prerequisites:


- Old device
- Logins for your apps (e.g. Keeper, Microsoft 365, Google Chrome)


Instructions:


This manual provides some mandatory steps for sending a device back to CloudConnected for a termination of a lease. Please if you haven't already so follow these instructions first:
- Preparation of MacBook macOS for return
- Setting up your MacBook for the first time

If you already followed above instructions or someone from CloudConnected has requested you to follow this specific manual you can skip above instructions. Whenever a device has to be sent back to CloudConnected it is mandatory to send the following items with it in the condition mentioned:


Apple



Step 1: Turn off find my. The instructions on how to do so can be found here
Step 2: Remove any Stickers or camera covers on the device. The device has to be clear without any stickers or residue left.
Step 3: Remove any stickers on the charger and cable. The Charger and Cable also have to be in a working state when sending the MacBook back to CloudConnected.
Step 4: Reset the MacBook. Instructions on how to do so can be found here

Step 1: Remove any Stickers on the device. The device has to be clear without any stickers or residue left.
Step 2: Remove any stickers on the charger and cable. The Charger and Cable also have to be in a working state when sending the laptop back to CloudConnected.


Failing to follow above steps will result in extra costs being charged to your company. CloudConnected is not responsible for Cleaning your device.
