Whiteglove deployment on Autopilot devices
How to Whiteglove an Autopilot device
Launch Whiteglove
- Power on the device.
- At the Windows Out-of-Box Experience (OOBE) screen, make sure that the correct language is selected. If another is selected, choose the correct one and press next.
- Press the Windows Key 5 times to launch the Whiteglove process.
If an ethernet connection is present, connect this now to the laptop. If that is not possible, the option to connect to WiFi will be presented later in the steps
Start Whiteglove deployment
- On the welcome screen with the 3 options, choose Pre-Provision with Windows Autopilot and click Next.
- If an Ethernet Cable is not connected to the machine at this point, you will be presented with an error screen stating that you lost internet connectivity. When you click on "Retry", it will give you the option to connect to the WiFi.
- After connecting to the WiFi or Ethernet, Windows will check for updates and might initiate a reboot.
- After the check for updates has completed, you will be presented with the Pre-Provision window.

- After clicking on Next, it will start deploying all the Device Profiles and Apps. This can take up to 15 minutes to complete.

- After the profiles have all been installed on the machine, you will get to the Finish Page. Here you will get an overview of the process and the option to "Reseal" the device. After clicking this, the laptop will shut down and the device can be packed up for shipping or handed to the end-user.
