Logging in to Microsoft Teams on Your Mobile Device with Your Phone Number

You can sign in to Microsoft Teams on your mobile device using your mobile phone number instead of an email address. This guide walks you through the steps to get started.

Before You Begin

Make sure:

• You have the Microsoft Teams app installed on your mobile device (download from https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.teams or https://apps.apple.com/app/microsoft-teams/id1113153706).
• Your mobile phone number is linked to your Microsoft account. If not, you can add it during sign-in.

Step 1: Open the Microsoft Teams App

1. Launch the Teams app on your mobile device.
2. Tap Sign in.

Step 2: Enter Your Mobile Phone Number

1. In the Sign-in field, type your mobile phone number (include country code if needed).

2. Tap Next.

Step 3: Verify Your Identity

1. Microsoft will send a verification code via SMS to your mobile number.
2. Enter the code in the app and tap Next.

Step 4: Complete Sign-In
