Microsoft Company Portal Installation and Enrollment Guide for MacOS
Installing the Company Portal App:
Step 1: Visit the Enroll My Mac page on your web browser.
Step 2: Wait for the Company Portal installer (.pkg file) to download. Open the installer when it's ready.
Step 3: On the "Introduction" page, click "Continue".
Step 4: On the "License" page, read through the Microsoft Application License Terms, then click "Continue".
Step 5: Click "Agree" to accept the terms of the software license agreement.
Step 6: On the "Installation Type" page, click "Install".
Step 7: Enter your device password or registered fingerprint, then click "Install Software".
Step 8: Wait for the Company Portal to finish installing, then open the Company Portal app.
Note: Microsoft AutoUpdate might open after enrollment and update your Microsoft software. For the best setup experience, install the latest versions of Microsoft AutoUpdate and Company Portal.
Enrolling Your Mac:
Step 1: Sign in to the Company Portal app with your work or school account.
Step 2: On the "Set up access" page, click "Begin".
Step 3: Review the privacy information, then click "Continue".
Step 4: On the "Install management profile" page, click "Download profile".

Your macOS system settings will open in a new window, showing the management profile you just downloaded.
Click on the profile to open it, then click "Install...".
When asked to confirm installation, click "Install".
Step 5: Enter your device password to allow the profile to enroll your device, then click "Enroll".
Step 6: Wait while the management profile installs and enrolls your device.
Step 7: Return to the Company Portal app and verify that there's a green checkmark next to "Install management profile".
Updating Device Settings
Step 1: Your organization may require you to update your device settings. On the "Checking device settings" page, review the list of settings you need to change.
Step 2: Click "How to resolve this" to view related help documentation in a web browser.
Step 3: After you make all changes, click "Retry". Wait while Company Portal rechecks your device settings.
Step 4: When setup is complete, click "Done". Your device is now ready to use for work.
You can go to "Devices" in the Company Portal app to view and manage your enrolled Mac.
